Cleverly designed machine that sits within a 5ft frame. Quilt is fixed to the frame and the machine is moved effortlessly to quilt.
 
Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR) - helps to keep the stitches even and consistent regardless of how slow or fast you quilt. No matter the complexity of the quilt design.
Two sensors of the interanl intergrated BSR, allow for precise sensing of the fabric movement. Fabric movement is detected and regulate the stitche from 1 - 24 stitches per inch.
 
Simple to activate and customizable using the machine touch screen. A manual mode with no stitch regulation is availble.

 Needle continues to move even  if you stop moving the fabric.  
Needle stops when you stop moving the fabric.  Great for quilting with rulers.
Basting mode - bast (tack) all the layers together quickly and effciently before quilting.
 
Use any Bernina free motion foot, including Ruler work foot with the built in BSR.
 
Digitial Thread Tension Adjustment - Electronically adjustable and numeric. Track settings for favourite thread types and combination.
 
NB - this model can't be used in the long quilting frames - look at the Q16 PLUS which will fit long quilting frames.
