Ideal for large pieces of fabric, making frills and ruffles, gathering fabric for skirts or dresses.
 
Use with the Gathering attachment (see below - optional extra), to overlock gathered fabric to flat fabric in one operation.

Makes it easier to do two jobs in one. Gather one piece and attached to another flat piece in one operation. One part of the foot gathers the fabric before overlocking to the flat piece. Ideal for attaching frills and ruffles to a garments or soft furnishings in one action.
