Perfect for sewing elastic fabrics and highly elastic knitwear. It has a medium ball point, but with a special eye and scarf which prevent stitches from skipping. 
Suitable for sewing fabric such as the following:-
Scuba, thick elastic type fabrics.
Needle sizes reflect the thickness of fabric, the higher the needle size number the thicker the fabric.
