Sew on Button Foot - Pfaff

Sewing on buttons can be a tedious job, but using this foot will make the job quicker and easier. Only suitable for buttons with holes through them both 2 and 4 hole in various sizes.

Select the correct width for the difference between the holes, you can even choose whether to sew a thread shank.

NB - Not for use with automatic needle threaders on category L machines

How to use:-

1. Mark on the fabric where you want the button to be placed.
2. Snap on the sew on button foot.
3. Lower feed dogs.
4. Insert the button between the black metal piece and the presser foot. Make sure that the two holes are positioned in thecut out of the presser foot.
5. Place the fabric under the presser foot. Select button sew on stitch or zigzag. REMEMBER - lower feed dogs.
6. Select width to match buttonholes. Manually turn the hand whell to make sure that the needle enters the left hole.
7. Start to sew. The machine with automatically tie of the thread if using button on sewing stitch. If using zigzag, sew across the button 5 times.
