This foot guides your stitching perfectly when joining fabrics and is designed to help you keep the seam allowance at the same distance from the edge of throughout the project.
It has a metal guide at 1.5 cm (5/8") distance from the centre needle position, which is a useful seam allowance when dressmaking. There are also 4 more markings for various sem allowances.
How to use:-
Snap on the seam guide foot and engage IDT, if available on your machine.
Select straight stitch.
For joining fabrics together - place fabric right side together.
Place the fabric under the presser foot with the metal guide at the edge of the fabric for 1.5 cm (5/8") seam allowance.
Start to sew. The guide with follow the edge of the fabric and the seam with be sewn with the perfect straight seam allowance.
Use the 4 other red markings on the foot for smaller seam allowances.
