The 247 stitches includes utility stitches, blind hem stitch for invisible hemming, stretch stitches, overcasting, a great range of decorative and traditional quilting stitches, automatic one step buttonholes together with 3 built in sewing fonts.

Stitch number, width and length are displayed on the colour touch LCD screen which also displays the correct foot for the stitch selected. Other functions are also shown such as mirror image.

Stitches are easily selected and automatically set themselves to the right length and width for that stitch. These can be adjusted using the width and length buttons. Maximum width 9mm, maximum length 5mm.

Securing stitches- choose between locking off button, which secures and knots on the spot or traditional reverse.

Easy to thread - just follow the numbers which guide you down to the needle and the built in needle threader. The drop in bobbin system makes it not only easy to thread, but is stronger, smoother and quieter.

Speed contro l - override the foot pedal so you can work at the speed you prefer. Great for beginners, free motion work.

Stop/start function- sew without the foot control pedal, ideal for free motion work, sewing for long periods.

The LED lights give a bright, clear, white light on to the sewing area.

Tapering Programme - Increase and decrease the width of the stitch when sewing to create symmetrical and asymmetrical tapers

IDT (Intergrated Dual feed)- makes the sewing of thicker or tricky fabrics easier. It gives you a set of feed teeth on the top of the fabric, ideal for quilting.

Automatic presser Foot Lifter- at the touch of a button it will raise or lower the presser foot
