Janome M100 QDC

Part of the M series, stronger, faster, boasting a host of features plus bonus patchwork and quilting feet and extension table included. Sew up to 820 stitches per minute. Hard cover comes as standard, a machine ideal for workshop and classes. There is even a small pin cushion that attaches to the top of the machine.

Stitches- total 100, including utility, blind hem, stretch and overcasting for neatening raw edges. A great range of decorative and traditional quilting stitches, 7 applique and 9 satin stitches. Choose from 7 automatic one step buttonholes, (put the buttonhole in the back of the foot and it will do the exact size all one go).

Stitch number, width and length are displayed on the LCD screen, which also displays the correct foot to use for the stitch selected.

Stitches are easily selected and automatically set themselves to the right length and width for that stitch. These can also be adjusted using the length and width buttons. Maximum width 7 mm, maximum length 5 mm.

Auto Thread Cutter(scissors) - trims the bobbin thread underneath after sewing.

Pressure foot safety device- the machine will bleep at you and not sew if the presser foot is still in the raised position.

Adjustable foot pressure- control how much pressure is applied when the presser foot is lowered onto the fabric.

Easy set drop in bobbin- no longer need to pull the thread up to the top before sewing. Set the bobbin into the case, thread following guide. Replace bobbin cover, as you start to sew the bobbin thread is automatically picked up.

Needle up / down function- control when the needle stays in the fabric, ideal for pivoting. Can also be used to sew one stitch at a time.

Speed control- override the foot pedal so you can work at the speed you prefer. Also great for beginners, free motion work and children.

Stop/start function- sew without the foot control pedal, idea for free motion work, sewing for long periods of time or for beginners.

Securing stitches- choose between locking off, which secures and knots on the spot or traditional reverse.

LED light- gives a bright, clear, white light on to the sewing area.

Drop feed- feed dogs can be lowered for free motion embroidery, quilting, darning and sewing on buttons.
