Used for free motion embroidery, stippling and darning to ensure proper stitch formation, minimise skipped stitches and puckering and to protect fingers whilst moving the fabric. The needle plate is required to cover the feed teeth as there in no drop feed mechanism. The needle plate clips easily onto the existing plate

2. Heavy Duty - £47.00

Heavier fabrics can effect the flow of the fabric when free motioning which is solved with this foot. The height of the foot can be adjusted with a pressure screw to adjust to the thickness of fabric used. The needle plate screws on giving more stability for heavier fabrics.
