The Bernina L460 is a top quality two, three or four thread overlocker it will cut, sew and neaten for you in one smooth operation giving you a professional look to anything you make. Comes with a slide on table that gives you more space for larger projects. With the FHS (knee lift) which raises and lowers the presser foot so hands are free for placing the fabric and sewing.
The colour coded thread path makes it easier to thread the machine. A built in lever that is attached to the lower looper makes it quick and easy to thread the lower looper.
This machine gives you the ability to sew 4 thread seam and neaten, 4 thread neaten, 3 thread wide neaten, 3 thread narrow neaten, rolled hem, picot hem, 2 thread rolled hem, 2 thread neaten, 2 thread flatlock.
All the tools, such as tweezers, are located in the front drop down panel making it quicker to convert between the different overlock variants.
A built in differential feed will offset any stretch or gathering the fabric may do when overlocking. This means that you can always acheive flat edges with a simple turn of a dial. Overedge cutting dial allows the adjustment of the cutting blade which helps to give a flat overlock.
A feature that you find on a Bernina overlocker is the Micro Thread Control. This micro adjustment fine tunes your tension by a small amount helping to control the overedge thread that sits on the edge of the fabric.
