Trainee Sewing Machine Technician

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an traniee sewing machine technician.

In this dynamic position you will play an essential role in supporting our customers, ensuring their sewing machines are in perfect working conditions.

As an trainee you will gain valuable knowledge and skills under the guidence of experienced technicians in a enjoyable, supportive and collabrative enviorment.
Learn to handle various sewing, overlocker, embroidery and industrial machines. Trouble shoot issues and perform routine maintenance all the while interacting with our wonderful customers.
Your role isn't just about fixing machines, it will also involve creating a positive experience for our customers, helping them master their sewing projects.

Job Role

Assisting diagnosing sewing machine issues

Carrying out repairs and servicing

Help conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of machines

Learn to operate sewing machines and demonstrate their features to customers

Manage inventory of repair parts and supplies

Provide excellent customer service in answering enquiries and offfering solutions

Document repairs process and maintain records of work completed

Building and delivery industrials

Visiting local business, schools and customer homes
Requirements

Genuine interest in sewing and sewing machines (Essential)

Strong mechanical apptitude

Willingness to learn

​Basic troubleshooting skills or a desire to develop them

Pay -Dependent on age and experience
Hours - Full time position which includes some Saturdays
